In recent news, there has been a buzz surrounding the discovery of two mummified bodies with elongated heads and three fingers on each hand. These bodies were presented to Mexico’s Congress by Jaime Maussan, a Mexican journalist and UFO enthusiast. While Maussan believes that these bodies are groundbreaking discoveries, many scientists dismiss them as a debunked stunt. In this article, we will delve into the details of this close encounter with alien bodies in Mexico, exploring the claims, counterarguments, and the scientific analysis surrounding this controversial topic.

The Unveiling of the Alien Bodies

The bodies, carefully stored in closed boxes with glass lids, were presented by Jaime Maussan in a green-screened studio in Mexico City. These mummified bodies share characteristics with humans, such as two eyes, a mouth, two arms, and two legs. According to Maussan, they were found near the Nazca Lines in Peru and are believed to be around 1,000 years old. One of the bodies, described as female, was even found to have eggs inside.

Maussan passionately asserts that these bodies are unlike anything known on Earth and sees this discovery as a pivotal moment for humanity. He believes that it has the potential to unite people in understanding the existence of extraterrestrial life. However, the scientific community remains skeptical and has raised several concerns regarding the validity of these claims.

Skepticism and Debunking

Elsa Tomasto-Cagigao, a respected Peruvian bio-anthropologist, expresses frustration with the ongoing publicity given to such claims. She points out that similar alleged finds in the past have been proven to be frauds. Previous cases involved mutilated mummies of pre-Hispanic children combined with bits of animal parts. Tomasto-Cagigao dismisses the current claims as nothing more than a rehash of previous hoaxes.

David Spergel, former head of Princeton University’s astrophysics department, emphasizes the importance of making such samples available for testing by the scientific community. He argues that rigorous examination and analysis are crucial to determining the authenticity and origin of these bodies.

The Testing Conundrum

Maussan has shared the results of DNA and carbon dating tests that he commissioned on the bodies. However, a Mexican scientist, at the request of Reuters, reviewed the results and concluded that they indicated normal life on Earth. This discrepancy raises questions about the reliability and accuracy of the tests conducted.

It is worth noting that the tests were performed on a different body, known as Victoria, which remains in Peru. Maussan claims that Victoria and the two bodies he presented in Mexico have the same physical appearance and were found in the same location. The decision not to test the two bodies presented in Mexico was made to avoid potential damage to them.

Conflicting Interpretations

Jose de Jesus Zalce Benitez, Director of the Health Sciences Research Institute of the Secretary of the Navy, participated in the congressional hearing and supports Maussan’s claims. According to Benitez, the DNA tests conducted on the bodies indicate that they are not related to any known species on Earth.

However, Julieta Fierro, a scientist at Mexico’s National Autonomous University’s (UNAM) Institute of Astronomy, has a different interpretation of the data. Fierro reviewed Maussan’s test results for Reuters and asserts that the presence of carbon-14 in the studies conducted by UNAM suggests that the samples are related to brain and skin tissues from different mummies who died at different times. She argues that the results do not indicate the presence of any mysterious compounds or life forms that do not exist on Earth.

The controversy surrounding these alien bodies has not only captured scientific attention but has also raised legal concerns. Peruvian Culture Minister Leslie Urteaga questions how these specimens, which she claims are pre-Hispanic objects, left Peru. She has filed a criminal complaint regarding their removal.

Jaime Maussan, on the other hand, insists that he has done nothing illegal and remains unfazed by the backlash. The ownership and journey of these bodies from Peru to Mexico remain unclear, as the man in possession of them, referred to as Clara and Mauricio, declined to provide further details.

Conclusion

The close encounter with alien bodies in Mexico has ignited a heated debate between UFO enthusiasts and skeptics within the scientific community. While Jaime Maussan sees this as a groundbreaking discovery that can unite humanity, scientists argue that the evidence presented does not support claims of extraterrestrial origins.

The conflicting interpretations of DNA and carbon dating tests further complicate the matter, leaving room for doubt and skepticism. The legal concerns surrounding the removal of these specimens from Peru add another layer of complexity to the already controversial situation.

As the debate continues, the search for answers regarding the true nature of these bodies and their origins remains ongoing. The scientific community calls for further examination and unbiased analysis to determine the authenticity and significance of this close encounter with alien bodies in Mexico.
